Local Spots
The idea of "walking distance" is very small at this hotel as it is made as a self-contained hub for airport travelers. The immediate area is made up of highways and other airport-related things with no pedestrian-friendly paths leading to any sights. The main walkable destination is the on-site convenience store at the hotel which is very important to guests. This small shop is where you can get a wide variety of Japanese snacks, drinks, instant noodles, and even complete bento box meals- a surprisingly good selection for its size.
There are no restaurants, cafes, or shops outside the hotel and its small grounds. The area is largely functional, not for leisure or exploration. If a guest wishes to see or do something outside the hotel, they must rely on organized transportation. The hotel’s own shuttle bus is the key to unlocking any nearby activities.
To sample a bit of the local flavor, take the complimentary shuttle back to Narita Airport. The train lines are within the terminals of the airport from where you can easily gain access. Just a 10-minute train ride to Narita City via Keisei or JR Line. This plan effectively makes the airport your access point for a quick sightseeing jaunt, but direct on foot from the hotel is not a workable option.
